Freedom Dance Studios attended ‘Calling U Out Championships’ held between 9 and 11 June 2023 and for the second year running have been crowned Elite Champions.
Freedom Dance Studios have proudly brought home 103 trophies and medals from Championships, which was all achieved by just 26 of their dancers who are aged 5 – 18 years old.
Freedom Dance Studios has had even more amazing news since returning from their championship weekend. They have just won and been awarded ‘2023 Best Dance Studio in Wirral’ by Quality Business Awards.
Owner, Kirsty Murphy, told Birkenhead News, “The teams have only been training together for the past year. We have House of Freedom and Freedom Collective and they’ve been training since September with the routines they’ve performed.
“They’ve done amazing. I’m just ecstatic. To be offering what we do for kids in Wirral, and for them to be achieving so much at such a young age is just amazing. It’s such a big achievement for us, the kids and the parents as well.”
Freedom Dance Studios, established in 2016 is a five-star family-run dance school based in Birkenhead and Wallasey. Kirsty’s mission is to bring elite but affordable dance training and opportunities to the Wirral community, so regardless of social status dance and opportunities are accessible to everyone.
Freedom Dance Studios can be seen performing live on Saturday 24 June at Woodslee Primary School’s summer fair. They will be performing at 1:30pm and the fair is on from 11am until 3pm at the school on Croft Avenue in Bromborough.
