NHS Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting residents to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to find out how it has used NHS budgets to deliver healthcare services across Wirral.
This year’s meeting takes place on Wednesday 13 October from 2pm-4pm via Microsoft Office Teams.
NHS Wirral CCG is responsible for the planning, designing and buying of most NHS services for the people of Wirral, including the care people receive in hospital and in community clinics. This process is known as commissioning.
The AGM is an opportunity to showcase the work that the CCG has done over the past twelve months and to hear about plans for the future.
Dr Paula Cowan, local GP and Chair of NHS Wirral CCG, said, “We would very much like to invite and encourage you to attend our virtual AGM. This gives us an opportunity to share with you a review of our successes and innovations over the last year, including our continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the very successful delivery of the vaccination programme here in Wirral.
“The AGM allows you an equal opportunity to share your feedback with us as an organisation and how we can work with you to improve the delivery of health and care to the Wirral population as we transition to the new NHS reconfiguration with integrated system working”.
