A man has been charged after two firearms and a large quantity of drugs were found at a house in Tranmere.
Officers searched an address in the area after a man failed to stop in his car when asked by police on Elm Road and seized large quantities of class A drugs, a shotgun and a revolver at the property.

Can you help trace the next-of-kin of a person from Wirral who has passed away?
The Coroner is appealing for information to trace the next of kin of a 69-year-old Wirral woman.
Police investigating a large fire on marshland in Neston have made three arrests.
Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following the fire on Saturday 19 March.
Three boys, two aged 13, and one aged 14 are currently in custody being interviewed by officers.
Merseyside Police has arrested a man following a stabbing in Birkenhead on Monday 21 March.
At around 9.30pm, police received a report that a man was on Duke Street with a stab wound.
It was reported that the man had been stabbed in the neck in the area of Park Road West and Ashville Road.
Merseyside Police has arrested a male following a report of rape in New Brighton on Sunday 20 March.
On Monday 21 March, police received a report that a female had been raped in Vale Park on Sunday.
Following enquiries, officers arrested a 17-year-old male from Liscard on suspicion of rape.
On Tuesday 22 March, officers arrested three men during search warrants in South Liverpool following an investigation into a burglary.
The burglary happened in Borough Road in Birkenhead earlier this year, where a family was confronted by masked males who stole cash and jewellery.
Officers from Operation Castle team attended the three properties in Toxteth, Picton and Wavertree where the three arrests were made. A significant quantity of cash and jewellery was also seized.
Merseyside Police is appealing for information following an injury shooting in Woodchurch on Tuesday 22 March.
At around 6.30pm officers were called to a report of a shooting on Hoole Road on the junction of Ferny Brow Road.
A 23-year-old man presented at hospital afterwards with several gunshot wounds. He remains in hospital with life-changing injuries.
On Thursday 24 March, a Wirral man was charged with drug offences.
Peter Lynch, aged 43, of New Brighton was arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis).
From 25 March 2022, motorists are breaking the law if they use a handheld mobile phone behind the wheel for any use, including to take photos or videos, scroll through playlists or play games – as the government closes a loophole previously exploited by dangerous drivers to escape conviction.
Anyone caught using their handheld device while driving could face a fine of up to £1,000 as well as 6 points on their licence or a full driving ban.
The government’s award-winning THINK! team is also launching an £800,000 awareness campaign to remind drivers not to use a handheld phone at the wheel and of the penalties if choosing to ignore this new law.
Three Merseyside Police officers will appeared in court on Friday after being charged following investigations by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
The IOPC looked at the conduct of three officers during and after the arrest of a man, who subsequently made a complaint about the incident.
The man alleged he had been assaulted by Inspector Andrew Minnery during the incident in Grasville Road, Tranmere on 6 March 2020.
