Chef Andrew Sheridan who heads up the kitchen at renowned Merseyside restaurants ‘8’ and ‘OXA’ is celebrated for his exceptional culinary talents and successful appearance on the BBC’s ‘Great British Menu’.
Last Friday he joined Wirral Met College as a distinguished guest, in the first of a series of workshops and cooking demonstrations in which he will share his wealth of knowledge and expertise with the college’s students.
The partnership with Chef Sheridan forms part of Wirral Met College’s commitment to providing its students with access to industry-leading professionals. Through these engaging sessions, students will have the opportunity to learn from a master chef, gaining insights into the world of fine dining cuisine and the demands of working in a top-tier restaurant.
In addition to the workshops and demonstrations, Chef Sheridan is also planning on holding a one-off takeover of the college’s onsite restaurant, ‘Met on the Square,’ for a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
