Merseyside Police has charged a 38-year-old man with drug offences.
Ashur Thomas of Osborne Road, Oxton, has been charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A and Class B drugs following his arrest yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in Wirral Adult Remand Court today (Friday 30 April).
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
