Wirral boy charged with multiple robbery offences

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with multiple robbery offences in Wirral.

Between Sunday, 7 May, and Monday, 15 May, last year, Merseyside Police received multiple reports of bike robberies and attempted robberies on Greasby Road, Leasowe Road, Cameron Road, Hoylake Road, and Ripon Road.

A 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Friday, 19 May 2023.

Following an extensive investigation has now been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and three counts of attempted robbery.

He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug.

He has been conditionally bailed to appear in Merseyside Youth Court on Tuesday, 28 May.
