Merseyside Makers launched its first physical market in West Kirby in October, when hundreds of locals attended, met the makers and enjoyed the market.
On Saturday 11 December they will be hosting their final market of the year, The Merseyside Makers Christmas Market. It will be packed with over 20 stalls, featuring a variety of handcrafted goods by talented makers from across Merseyside and the surrounding areas.
The Merseyside Makers Christmas Market is the ideal place to find something different and special for friends and family, and to shop small and support local makers this Christmas. Local crafters, bakers and candle makers will be at St. Andrew’s Church Hall in West Kirby, as they bring a bit of Christmas magic between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 11 December.
For those who have already visited in October or November, there will be some familiar makers there, but there will also be new makers displaying their products for the first time. There will be handcrafted candles, home fragrances, jewellery, decorative items, original artwork, gin, cakes, bakes and lots more.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Makers said, “Our markets will also feature the Makers Café, where people can relax and enjoy a hot drink, soak up the atmosphere and chat with family and friends. All our markets are free to enter and great fun for all the family.
“We’re also delighted to say that Merseyside Makers Markets will be back in 2022 with lots more Makers from across Merseyside. Dates for Markets in West Kirby are now on our website and we’re on the lookout for other venues across Merseyside to host our incredible Makers.”
Merseyside Makers is also accepting applications to trade at their market and should you like to apply please visit the website and complete the registration form at www.merseysidemakersmarket.co.uk
