A busy weekend for the Warriors saw their athletes travel for Karate grading, tennis tournaments, and the British inter-county Fell champs at Church Stretton outside Telford.
Quinn McCaul successfully achieved his karate grading, while James Howell took silver in the U11 Boys Northern Tour tennis tournament in Bury.
The highlight of the weekend was the British inter-county fell running championships. Warriors athletes made up the majority of the Merseyside team, with a couple also turning out for the Cheshire team.
It was an extremely tough course, with the start being a vertical 100m climb, but the Warriors more than held their own against the best mountain runners in Britain.
Amongst a host of top 20 finishes, two really stood out. Daisy McVicar, just 10 years old in her first proper season nailed a silver in the U11 race, and Isla Pastor also took a silver in the full British Championship at U15, to crown an excellent week after winning the N Wales title in Snowdonia last weekend.
This week the focus turns to Germany, where 11 of the Warriors are competing for Great Britain Pentathlon at the European Championships in Munich.
