Alongside the SEND team who are finalists in the ‘Inclusive Practice’ category, Kids Planet Wallasey has been shortlisted in the ‘Working with Babies and Toddlers’ category.
The Working with Babies and Toddlers award is for early years provision displaying exemplary practice in caring for and educating the youngest children, meeting their individual needs and supporting their development.
The Wallasey nursery has a babyhouse, situated in a separate building at the end of the block. It is designed specifically for babies, creating a homely environment.
The team are chosen for their aptitude to working with babies and have completed specialist training giving them a deep understanding of the specific, individual needs of babies and their next steps of learning.
The nurturing staff give priority to promoting the babies’ welfare and development.
