The race for the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division title continued as AFC Shore Villa overwhelmed their club mates Shore Villa Athletic in a 8-0 victory.
The result sees AFC Shore Villa move to within two points of leaders West Kirby Athletic, who were awarded the points versus Shore Villa due to them being unable to field a team. On target for AFC were Jordan McAteer with a hat-trick, James Outram with a brace, and John Hughes, Joe Robinson, and Chris Hughes all netted singles for the promotion favourites.
Barnston FC moved onto level points with Ellesmere Port Red Lions following their 2-0 victory over them as Jamie Mitchell fired the first goal and then goalkeeper Ethan Call moved up front to add the second for his first goal for the team.
One goal apiece for Callum Murphy, Lee Doyle, and Soloman Lowe earned North West Harriers a 3-1 success over Bromborough Athletic and have two games left to attain a top four position.
One O’Clock Gun are now favourites to claim the MES Ltd First Division title despite only drawing 0-0 with Vineyard after a battling performance that saw home goalie Liam Fox have a magnificent game that culminated in a penalty save to earn Vineyard a point. The Gun are now top on goal difference and have three games remaining to claim top billing.
