The Dutchman Cup Final played at Cammell Laird FC’s ground saw Shore Villa overcome club compatriots Shore Villa Athletic in a frantic finish that saw three late goals decide the contest.

Scores were level 0-0 at the break following some wayward efforts failing to hit the net, but in the final ten minutes, Villa netted through Connor Hodson and Sam Range, with an unfortunate own goal completing the scoring for them to sink Athletic 3-0.

This despite an excellent performance by Athletic’s goalie Dan Rimmer making some exceptional saves to earn his man of the match award. MoM award for Villa went to Carl Boyd as he put in a magnificent shift in an eagerly contested game.

Farmers Arms ploughed their way to the top of the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division with an emphatic 8-1 result over Park Royal, whose lone scorer was Josh Mann. Hitting the net for Arms were Mike Jenkinson, Liam Pitt, Alex Martin, Ben Gerrard, Danny Lewis, Sam Gerrard, and two goals from Alex Clarke in a great team performance.
