Eastham Rangers completed the double over PLCCFC in the Mike O’Sullivan Garages First Division when securing the points with a 1-0 victory thanks to a Martin Marshall goal in an evenly fought fixture.
Rangers still have two games remaining, but PLCCFC have now completed their campaign.
The divisional title is still possible for one of three teams and the vital fixtures will be completed by next Sunday.
The only fixture in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division saw Primrose FC finishing third following their hard-fought 1-0 success over Oxton Celtic as David Harrison notched the only goal. Celtic still have two games left to play which could provide a fifth-place finish if they win at least one of them.
One O’Clock Gun ended as Second Division champions and Trident claimed runners-up spot even with one more fixture to play.
The Wallasey & District SFL is looking for new applicants to join for the 2022/23 season.
