Merseyside Police Detectives have issued images of two people who may have information following an assault on Hardman Street, Liverpool City Centre earlier this month.
At around 2.30am on Friday 14 October, an altercation took place on South Hunter Street, which reportedly continued onto Hardman Street.
The victim attempted to intervene and separate the parties involved but was punched to the face and kicked to the back. The victim sustained a serious ankle injury in the fall.
The suspects walked off in the direction of Hope Street. Enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi said, “This was a vicious and completely unprovoked attack on man who was simply trying to put a stop to an earlier altercation. We think those pictured may have information to help our investigation, so if you know who they are please come forward.
“This assault resulted in serious injuries to the victim, and we are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”
