Two people have been arrested in connection with burglary offences in Liverpool.
On Wednesday, 31 January, officers attended an apartment block in the Moorfields area of Liverpool city centre after a report was received that a man was sleeping rough in the communal hallway and causing a disruption.
Following enquires he was identified as breaking into a number of apartments on site.
Officers attended and arrested a 25-year-old man from Liverpool on suspicion of three counts of burglary offences, acquiring/using/possessing criminal property, and criminal damage to a property valued under £5,000, and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Further enquires led to the arrest of a 34-year-old woman who was found to be in possession of a bladed weapon and a quantity of wraps containing brown and white powder.
The 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of heroin, acquiring/using/possessing criminal property and possession of a bladed article.
Both suspects have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
