Merseyside Police has arrested a man and a woman for drugs offences following an incident during the evening of Friday 4 March.
Operation Target officers in Wirral spotted a 35-year-old man on Newling Street, Birkenhead, at around 6:45pm. He was searched and found in possession of Class A drugs and was arrested.
A search of a nearby property was also conducted where a 26-year-old woman was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs after a search.
The search revealed a number of weapons and a large amount of drugs including around 2500 wraps of crack cocaine, uncut heroin, multiple bags of brown powder and approximately 2kg of cannabis bush.
Together, the drugs were estimated to have a street value of £30k.
Two electric bikes were also seized as being stolen.
Both the man and woman were taken to custody for further questioning.
