Tranmere Rovers Women announce Survitec as new shirt sponsor

Tranmere Rovers Women has announced Elllesmere Port based Survitec as their new front of shirt sponsor.  

Survitec supply a full range of life-saving safety equipment to markets such as marine, energy, aerospace and defence. They operate eight manufacturing facilities, three training centres, 70 locations and a support network of more than 400 accredited service stations. 

Chief Operating Officer Aerospace and Defence, David White, and Ellesmere Port Factory General Manager, Brett Hogarth, spoke about the partnership 

They said, “Survitec Aerospace & Defence is exceptionally proud to sponsor Tranmere Rovers Women football team for the forthcoming season. Our employee Lynn Carter is now the team’s assistant manager after a long playing career and we are delighted to support the team. 

“After relocating our factory to a state-of-the-art new build in Ellesmere Port, it is a great pleasure to support the Tranmere Rovers Women’s football team and the local community; creating a long-standing winning partnership together.”

Tranmere Rovers Women’s longest-serving player, now assistant manager and Survitec employee, Carter, played a key role in the new partnership. 

She said, “I’m delighted that Survitec will be our sponsor for the coming season. I have worked for Survitec for more than 25 years and I’ve played and been part of Tranmere Women for just as long, so to see two main aspects of my life come together is great. 

“Survitec are global leaders in critical safety equipment for aerospace and defence, saving lives every day and I’m so proud to be a part of that” 

Louise Edwards, Head of Women’s Football at Tranmere Rovers, is pleased to have Survitec as their new front of shirt sponsor.

She added, “We are thrilled to have Survitec on board as the women’s main shirt sponsor. Being a successful local business who fit with all of our Club principles it feels only right to be working with them.  

We would like to thank everyone at Survitec for their support and we look forward to building our partnership in the future.”
