Tranmere Rovers has announced the return of their open day event at Prenton Park – taking place Sunday 17 July.
Supporters will have the chance to explore the Stadium on a guided tour, through the most exclusive areas of Prenton Park including the control room and police cells which proved very popular at last year’s Open Day.
Cowsheds Catering will provide refreshments for the event, accessible throughout the grounds. Tranmere Rovers are also pleased to partner with Future Yard for the event, who will provide live music on the day.
Supporters will have the opportunity to chat with Chairman and Vice Chairman Mark Palios and Nicola Palios along with some of the Club’s Associate Directors who help support and develop the day-to-day operations of the Club.
Of course, no Open Day would be complete without a player autograph session, and there will be an opportunity for fans to meet the new squad members, get items signed and maybe snap a selfie or two.
There will be Turn up and Play sessions running throughout the day at the Recreation Centre adding to the already action-packed itinerary.
For the first time ever, you will be able to take part in an E-Sports FIFA Tournament with the semi-final and final legs being played on the Open Day. Early registration is essential as places are limited and with fantastic prizes including a fantastic gaming chair for each semi-finalist, kindly provided by UK Gaming Chairs, with the overall winner receiving a £100 cash prize and a copy of FIFA 23 when released to the UK and signed by the Tranmere squad.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about the educational opportunities within the Club and a chance to watch a typical training session on the pitch with the current College students.
There will be an amazing performance by the very talented TRIC Stars along with information about how to join the team should you currently be looking for job opportunities.
A club spokesperson said, “It’s looking to be another great Open Day with many other activities from local businesses, supporters’ groups, Rover the Dog and an opportunity to learn more and donate to the fantastic Community Tickets scheme. We look forward to seeing you all there.”
