Tranmere Rovers in the Community hosted the Club’s Super White Christmas children’s party at Prenton Park Recreation Centre on Saturday, with over 60 children coming along from local community groups.
First-team players Jake Burton, Lee O’Connor, and Luke Robinson joined in activities such as bowls with Bowls Buddies, archery with Bebington Archers, and 6-a-side football.
There was also a visit from Father Christmas from Heswall Round Table, as he joined in with the activities as well as taking pictures with the children.
Children from Birkenhead Youth Club, Shaftesbury Youth Club, Wirral Deen Centre and New Ferry Rangers were invited along to attend the free event.
All children received a Tranmere Rovers shirt and selection box, with some of them receiving trophies from Bowls Buddies.
Ian from Bowls Buddies said, “We had a great time, the kids really enjoyed it, had some fantastic fun and some trophies won as well which is great.”
