Tranmere Rovers has confirmed that Ross Doohan has joined Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The goalkeeper initially arrived at Prenton Park at the start of the 2021/22 season on loan from Celtic before joining permanently on a two-year contract last summer.
Joe Murphy Said, “Ross and Matt battled it out throughout pre-season and the first 25 games of the season. We are replacing one first-team goalkeeper with a massive future with another first-team goalkeeper with a massive future.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Ross over the last couple of seasons and I wish him the best of luck at Forest Green.”
A club spokesperson said, “Everyone at Tranmere Rovers would like to thank Ross for his hard work and contribution whilst at Prenton Park and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
