Tomorrow’s Women (TW) is a Birkenhead based charity led by women for women. They offer all adult women aged 18+ a safe, female only environment where they can be provided with a range of tools and support to make positive lifestyle changes.
TW aim to do this by reducing the personal, social, health and economic disadvantages experienced by women through working in partnership to improve access to all relevant services and community resources.
TW offer support and guidance to women who have suffered domestic abuse, helping them recognise red flag for the future, set healthy boundaries and allow them to build confidence. They also have solicitors within centre who specialise in this particular area should the woman need that kind of support.
Women’s mental health and wellbeing is at the forefront of the centre, offering group support sessions in this area and also holistic approaches such as yoga and meditation. They also have a counsellor on site offering free counselling sessions.
TW have been fortunate enough to secure Eurogrant funds from Culture Liverpool in order to host some exciting activities for the women to celebrate Eurovision 2023.
Between 9 and 12 May, TW will be hosting a range of activities include bunting making, singalongs and Ukrainian flower crown making.
The week of activities will culminate in a celebration during their Friday lunch club on 12 May with games, quizzes, and food. The event is free to all women aged 18+.
