Merseyside Police is circulating images of three men who officers think may have information in connection with a disturbance at a pub in Upton last month.
At around 11pm on Friday 25 November, it was reported that a fight occurred between a group of men at the Horse and Jockey pub on Arrowe Park Road.
The incident began inside the premises when two men were punched several times and attacked with a pool cue by two other men.
The four men involved then left the pub and continued to fight outside and this then escalated with the involvement of several other men.
Since the incident, officers have carried out an extensive investigation, including CCTV and witness enquiries.
A 24-year-old man from Tranmere was arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a controlled drug. He was released on unconditional bail pending further enquiries.
A 37-year-old man from Noctorum was also arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent and he was released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Officers believe the three men pictured could have information to help our ongoing investigation.
Detective Constable Sarah Taylor said, “This violent incident appears to have involved several people and we are determined to find those responsible and put them before the courts. To get involved in such violent scenes is completely unacceptable.
“If you recognise any of these people involved, please get in touch as we believe they could have information that will help our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC or 101 with reference number 22000869876.
