Merseyside Police has confirmed that detectives have arrested a man after the body of a woman was found at a home in Stoneycroft this afternoon, Thursday 25 November.
At around 4.55pm, emergency services were called to The Green, near to the Rocket and Queens Drive, to reports of a woman, aged 47 years, being found at a house. She was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Initial enquiries are ongoing at the scene and at this stage detectives are treating the incident as unexplained.
Three men (two aged 21 and 57 from Stoneycroft, and one aged 46 years from Norris Green) have been arrested on suspicion of murder and have been taken to police stations for questioning.
