Merseyside Police has issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following a robbery at a cashpoint in Liverpool city centre.
At around 10.30am on Sunday 11 September a man in his 50s was outside Sainsbury’s at St John’s Shopping centre using the cash machine to withdraw money.
An unknown male snatched the cash from the machine and walked away with a second male. When the victim attempted to follow the two males and ask for his money back he was punched in the face.
The man was taken to hospital with an injury to his nose.
Police have carried out witness and CCTV enquiries and have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to.
Police believe the man may have information which is vital to their investigation.
