The HandCrafted Market, a thriving community of artisans founded by local entrepreneur Elliott O’Callaghan, today announces a significant reduction in its craft market prices to aid talented local artisans during the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Prices will be cut by a substantial 50% at the June, July and August Markets in West Kirby and Frodsham to support local crafters who are faced with escalating living costs.
Elliott established The HandCrafted Market in 2022 with a vision of nurturing the local artisan community and connecting it with a wider audience. His latest move demonstrates a tangible commitment to this vision as he provides much-needed financial relief to the craftsmen and women who make The HandCrafted Market the vibrant, creative hub it is today.
In these challenging times, Elliott is calling on the public to rally behind local businesses, encouraging customers to “shop small, support local” in order to help sustain the livelihoods of the many artisans who rely not only on The HandCrafted Market, but similar events for income.
“The HandCrafted Market is a testament to the incredible talent in our community,” said Elliott O’Callaghan. “By reducing our prices, we’re not only helping our artisans weather this storm, but we’re also providing an opportunity for shoppers to support local businesses at a time when they need it most.”
Elliott added, “Our aim is to create a win-win situation for our artisans and customers. We’re providing an affordable platform for our artisans to sell their work, while customers can feel good about their purchases, knowing they’re directly supporting local talent and helping to sustain our community during this tough economic period.”
In response to this announcement, Elliott is asking local residents to get behind The HandCrafted Market, showing their support and pledging to shop small and local.
The HandCrafted Market is inviting everyone to join them in their mission to support local artisans.
The next market in West Kirby is on Saturday 10th June 2023, 10am – 3pm at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Graham Road, West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 5DN. Frodsham is on Sunday 4th July 2023, 10am – 3pm at Frodsham Community Centre, Fluin Lane, Frodsham, WA6 7QN.
Shoppers will be treated to a treasure trove of unique, handcrafted goods, from ceramics and jewellery to textiles and artwork, all produced locally.
Elliott is also looking for new crafters to join The HandCrafted Market and showcase their handmade creations. To learn more about the upcoming events and how to get involved, please visit their website at www.thehandcraftedmarket.co.uk
