Merseyside Police is appealing for information after three teenagers were assaulted in Wirral.
At around 6.30pm on Friday 27 May, a 17-year-old male was assaulted by a group of males close to Tebay Retail Park in Bromborough and hit over the head with a weapon.
A short time later two 16-year-old males were in Eastham country park when they were approached by what is believed to be the same group of males and assaulted.
The group were dressed in black and had their faces covered.
The teenagers received medical treatment for head, hand and leg injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
An investigation is underway and witness and CCTV enquiries are being carried out.
Detective Inspector Ruth Tickle said, “This appears to have been two unprovoked attacks carried out by the same group of males.
“We are carrying out enquiries and would ask anyone who was in the area of Tebay retail park or Eastham country park last night who saw or heard anything suspicious or has any information which could assist the investigation to contact us.
“We would also ask anyone who captured anything on dashcam to get in touch as they may be able to assist our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch either via DM @MerPolCC or calling @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 22000367090.”
