This morning, Monday 15 May, emergency services responded to reports of a casualty on the tracks at West Kirby railway station.
The incident prompted paramedics to attend the scene, where they provided medical assistance to a teenage girl.
The girl was subsequently transported to the hospital for assessment. In order to facilitate the emergency response, adjustments were made to Merseyrail services at the station.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said, “Officers were called to West Kirby station at 7.59am following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a teenage girl has been taken to hospital for assessment.”
