Emergency services were in attendance at Cleveland Street in Birkenhead this morning, Friday 3 September.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said, “At around 9.30am we received a report of a sudden death of a male at an address on Cleveland Street. “
North West Ambulance Service Paramedics attended but sadly, the man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed.
A witness posted on social media that, “Police, fire brigade, ambulances, paramedics and forensic outside a house in Cleveland Street this morning. Houses sealed off.”
The Merseyside Police spokesperson continued, “The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
