Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Bebington, Wirral this morning, Wednesday 22 June.
At around 9.10am, emergency services were called to Old Chester Road, close to Bebington railway station, to reports of a collision involving a Renault Kadjar and a woman in her 60s.
The woman has been taken to hospital with a head injury, which is being assessed.
The driver remained at the scene to assist police with their enquiries and a partial road closure is in place. Access to the station is via the entrance near to Aldi for the time being.
