On Saturday 4 June VOD Music will hold a large record fair at Pacific Road, Birkenhead. There will be a bumper 28 record stalls and has attracted record dealers from all parts of the UK.
This historic tram shed and former music venue will be packed with music from all genres and across all formats including vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. Merchandise and memorabilia will also be available.
There will be additional pop up stalls, and DJ sets with live music on the day.
A spokesperson for VOD Music said, “This will be a celebration of real music and the love for it in all physical forms, these events are happy social gatherings for like-minded music fans with the emphasis fully on enjoyment.
“This will bring music back to the former venue that once played host to some of the finest gigs, including the likes of The Damned, Hawkwind, Steve Hackett, Beth Orton, Wishbone Ash and so many more all played at Pacific Road.”
VOD Music has been organising Record Fairs since 2006 and is working closely with Wirral Chamber of Commerce and Pacific Road to make this a very special day.
The Pacific Road venue is just a 2-minute walk from Hamilton Square Station or Woodside Ferry and bus terminal, with ample nearby car parking. This event runs from 10am-4pm and is free to enter.
Should you wish to make a day out of it, a short walk from Pacific Road takes you to Woodside Ferry Village Market which has an amazing selection of 24 artisan stalls with makers bakers and creators selling everything from cake and crystals to Indian rugs and incense.
