Simon Humphreys has joined property development group, Starship, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience in urban regeneration and modular solutions.
Simon spent a large part of his career as Development Director at Urban Splash after joining the business in 1995 just after it was launched.
Along the way, Simon played a leading role in the design and delivery of some of Urban Splash’s most high-profile projects including Ropewalks, Matchworks and New Islington.
Simon has joined the group to head up Birkenhead based Starship’s new urban regeneration team, this team will drive forward Starship’s place led developments and deliver a range of high-profile regeneration projects across the North West.
Starship Starship Group was formed following the acquisition and merger of several existing property development and construction businesses and is backed by a private investment fund.
Starship has delivered over £75m of residential projects across the UK and the group already has over £30m of developments in progress with a further £100m in the pipeline.
In addition to its core property development activities Starship has invested in cutting-edge modern construction methods to meet the UK’s growing housing demand.
Starship Modular has delivered over 50 homes so far this year and handed over their first zero carbon homes to Magenta Living in Wirral which will now be a standard for all Starship homes built in the future.
