Merseyside Police has arrested a man and seized cash, drugs and other paraphernalia following a stop check in Oxton yesterday, Monday 24 October.
At around 5.30pm, officers sighted a car travelling at speed, which was stopped on Palm Grove. A search located a large quantity of suspected cocaine, cash, scales and other items (pictured). The driver was also tested in a roadside drugs wipe.
A 26-year-old man from Prenton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs; and drug driving. He has been taken to a police station for questioning.
