Merseyside Police officers have charged a man with firearm and ammunition offences in Port Sunlight.
Officers from Merseyside Police and Counter Terrorism Policing North West executed a warrant at a property in Port Sunlight on Thursday 15 September.
Alan Madden, 64, of Port Sunlight was later charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a weapon and a bladed article.
Madden appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday 21 September and has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on Wednesday 19 October.
