Tranmere hosted Oldham yesterday afternoon for a 3pm kick-off in their latest game of the 2021/22 League 2 season.
Ahead of the game, Micky Mellon said, “We’ve got the suspended lads back in the squad. Tom Davies is available again, we’ll lose Callum McManaman with concussion, Joe Murphy is back in the squad again, he’s trained today and yesterday so he’s back in the group.
“(We’re) back towards a full quota again.
“We’ll try and take care of business and we’ll just keep going as that’s what you’re expected to do and that’s what we’ll continue to do.

Match Report: Tranmere Rovers v Oldham Athletic
It was another home victory for Tranmere Rovers yesterday as they beat Oldham Athletic 2-0 at Prenton Park.
Josh Hawkes and Kane Hemmings secured a win for Tranmere over already-relegated Oldham.
Rovers dominated the whole first half, denying Oldham any opportunity to strike, resulting in a very quiet first half for Joe Murphy.
Hawkes struck in the 27th minute when he picked up the ball on the edge of the box, before dispatching a dazzling strike which left Oldham keeper, Jayson Leutwiler, with no chance.
With half an hour to go, Rovers secured the win when Lewis Warrington played a nice ball perfectly to Hemmings, who made sure it counted, with a right footed shot from outside the box to the top right corner.
Hemmings had the chance of a second goal in the last moments of the game but was denied by a save from the Oldham keeper.
Tranmere now sit two points off a play-off place with one game to go, at Leyton Orient on Saturday 7 May.
