The Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel will be closed to all traffic on the following nights whilst essential maintenance work is undertaken:
- From 2100 on Monday 20 June until 0630 on Tuesday 21 June
- From 2100 on Tuesday 21 June until 0630 on Wednesday 22 June
- From 2100 on Wednesday 22 June until 0630 on Thursday 23 June
- From 2100 on Thursday 23 June until 0630 on Friday 24 June
During the closure of the Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel, the Kingsway (Wallasey) Mersey Tunnel will remain fully open in both directions.
The above information is currently correct but closures may be subject to change.
Bus operator, Arriva North West, has said that all of its services will use the Kingsway Tunnel while the maintenance work is carried out.
