Pedestrian suffers serious head injury in Seaforth RTC

Officers are in attendance at a road traffic collision on Sandy Road in Seaforth this morning, Friday 9 December.

At around 7.50am, police received a report of a collision involving a vehicle being driven on Sandy Road and a woman pedestrian.

The woman has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury.

The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

Road closures are in place on Sandy Road and Claremont Road while emergency services attend the incident. Police are asking that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
