Wirral Council has released the full list of roads where parking restrictions will be in place for the Open.
The new rules come in as Hoylake expects to receive 250,000 visitors for one of the most prestigious competitions in golf.
The 13th time Hoylake has hosted the Open, this year is expected to bring in more visitors than ever before with the event taking place between 16 and 23 July.
To deal with the demand, Wirral Council has introduced temporary car parks and parking restrictions to help manage traffic.
People are being encouraged to come in by public transport with train services doubling. West Kirby train station will also be closed for the event.
Park and Ride car parks are being set up with free drop off and pick ups with a dedicated bus service to the course. Parking or stopping near the course or on the main routes into Hoylake will not be allowed with Merseyside Police enforcing this.
Local parking pays will be kept available though some car parks have time limits which will be patrolled regularly.
No on-street parking will be allowed on Stanley Road though people will still be able to walk down to the beach.
On some roads, signs will show parking is for residents and businesses only. The roads where parking and access permits will be required are as follows:
Meols Drive (east side 1 to 41a and 63 to 103 for those who require on-street parking)
North Parade (from The Kings Gap to Alderley Road) – Access permits will be issued to residents and visitors with off-road vehicular access from North Parade or requiring vehicular access to Marine Road. Please note that permits will not allow parking on North Parade)
