Packed schedule lined up for Wirral’s young people this half term

The new neighbourhood-based services for young people in the borough have a packed schedule for this half term.

The Youth and Play Service of Wirral performs an outstanding job in providing a variety of activities for young people throughout the Wirral region, catering to juniors (in primary years 5 and 6), seniors (aged 11 to 19), and young people with disabilities (up to 25 years).

The service creates safe environments that enable young people to express themselves freely, socialize with friends, and engage in constructive learning experiences that promote personal growth.

By providing a platform for young people to voice their opinions and ideas, the service inspires and encourages them while also ensuring they have a good time.

This half term – from Monday 20 February – there are activities right across the borough.

These range from Easter arts and crafts or even a “pamper time” at Moreton Youth Space, to making pancakes, quizzes, anti-bullying workshop, and a treasure hunt in Eastham. New Brighton’s Youth Space has soap-making and ten pin bowling.

There are currently Youth Spaces at Eastham, New Ferry, New Brighton, Moreton, Liscard, West Kirby and Birkenhead (The Hive). There are also additional outreach sessions at Woodchurch and other locations in the borough.

For more activities during the February half term or to find out more about Youth Spaces in Wirral visit Zillo Wirral ,  the Wirral Council website  or e-mail youthspaces@wirral.gov.uk
