On your marks for Stick ‘n’ Step at this year’s Santa Dash

Cerebral palsy charity Stick ‘n’ Step is appealing for runners to take part in this year’s Liverpool Santa Dash to help raise funds for its two centres in Wallasey and Runcorn.

The Liverpool Santa Dash is the biggest and longest-established Santa Run in the UK. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, 3 December, and promises to be the biggest yet.

Hundreds of people will take to the streets of the city centre in Santa outfits for the annual famous 5km run. Age is no barrier to taking part, with children being welcome to do the shorter, 1k Mini Dash. Minimum sponsorship required to fundraise for Stick ‘n’ Step is just £50.

Head of Fundraising at Stick ‘n’ Step, Sarah Johnson, said, “The Liverpool Santa Dash is one of the most popular running events in Liverpool and kickstarts the festive season.

“This year we would love to field our biggest team of Santas ever to help boost our fundraising efforts, so whether you want to sprint, jog or simply stroll the 5k, we’d love to hear from you.”
