Leading construction specialist, HMS, has completed its latest new build project and handed over 13 new build homes to landlord, Torus.
Riverside adds to the new build homes already completed by the team this year and marks the beginning of a series of exciting handovers for HMS, including schemes across the Liverpool City Region.
With new build construction a relatively new workstream for the organisation, only commencing in 2018, HMS is quickly demonstrating its ability to grow and adapt, with over 300 new homes currently on site.
Discussing the handover, Construction Director, John Barrow, said, “Despite a number of challenges slowing down progress on site, including disruptions in the supply chain and of course, COVID-19, I’m delighted to see Riverside complete.”
“Riverside is another example of just how well HMS can work during testing times to get the job over the line and deliver the high standard of work we are known for. I’m proud of how quickly new build construction has grown for HMS and that is representative of how we truly partner with clients to build homes that are reliable, safe and fit for purpose.”
Chris Bowen, Managing Director at Torus Developments, said, “This is the fifth new build project we have worked on with HMS and to see how they are able to quickly mobilise and adapt to deliver, regardless of the size or scale of the site.”
“Riverside is just the latest project we have completed with HMS and further adds to the exciting pipeline of opportunities we are working on with the team.”
