Officers from Operation Remove made a number of arrests over the weekend tackling serious and organised crime across Wirral.
ARRESTS | FRIDAY
A male, 37, from Tranmere was arrested in Tranmere for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A drugs, after cash and suspected Heroin was found on his person.
A male, 30, from Bootle was arrested in Birkenhead for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A drugs, after suspected Heroin was found on his person.
A male, 31, from Leasowe, who was wanted on a No-Bail Warrant was arrested in Birkenhead and remanded into custody.
ARRESTS | SATURDAY
After officers sighted three individuals engaged in a drugs transaction in Birkenhead, a male, 29, from Moreton was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Drug Class A & B after suspected cannabis and cocaine was found on his person.
A second male, 20, from Birkenhead was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Drug Class A & B, Being Concerned in the Supply of Drugs and Suspected Possession of a Bladed Article after a quantity of suspected Cannabis, Ecstasy, and a knife was found on his person.
After searches of related addresses, a female, 19, from Birkenhead was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Drug Class A & B after a further quantity of drugs were recovered.
After a Police Style Baton and Incapacitant Spray were also recovered the second male was also further arrested for Suspicion of Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Possession of a Section 5 Firearm.
ARRESTS | SUNDAY
A male, 35, from Tranmere was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Drug Class A after a small quantity of suspected cocaine was recovered.
A male, 36, from Poulton was arrested in Birkenhead for Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Dangerous Driving, No Insurance, and No Licence. Additionally, a suspected stolen motorbike was recovered.
