Motorist crashes into man walking dog in Wallasey

Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Wallasey today, Monday 28 November.

At around 3.15pm it was reported that a motorist driving a black Mercedes car had been involved in a collision with a pedestrian and his dog on Mill Lane.

The man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his leg and back.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. 

Police are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
