Man taken to hospital following Norris Green collision

Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car being driven on the East Lancashire Road in Norris Green on Friday 15 March.

At around 3.15am, it was reported that a white Mercedes had been involved in a collision with a 36-year-old male.

The man was taken to hospital and is receiving treatment for injuries which are not life-threatening.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. 

Police are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV, and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
