Merseyside Police officers were called to Noctorum Avenue/Pine Tree Avenue yesterday, Sunday 6 March, following a road traffic collision.
A report was received at around 12.10pm that a quad bike being ridden by two males had been in collision with a BMW car.
One of the males on the bike suffered a head injury in the collision and has been taken to hospital. A second male, also on the bike, is believed to have left the scene prior to patrols arriving.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or @MerPolTraffic quoting log 444 of 6 March.
