Man sought following ‘nasty attack’ at city centre bar

Merseyside Police has issued a CCTV image of a man who could have information following a reported assault in Liverpool city centre.

At around 7.30pm on Sunday 18 June, it was reported that a group of men were involved in an argument with another man in Rubber Soul, on Mathew Street.

All those involved were removed from the premises by security.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we hope that the CCTV images can assist our investigation.

“We believe the man pictured could have information. If you recognise him, please get in touch.

“Similarly, if you saw the incident on Sunday evening, please contact police as soon as possible.”
