Man sentenced for vehicle crime offence in Bebington

In a recent incident that took place in Wirral last week, a man has been apprehended and charged with a vehicle-related crime.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 21 when it was reported that an individual had trespassed onto the driveway of a property in Bebington. Once there, the man proceeded to test the car door handles of the vehicles.

The suspect, identified as Philip Taylor, aged 47, of Rock Ferry, was taken into custody on Monday, June 26.

Following a thorough investigation and examination of evidence, he was subsequently charged with the offence of interfering with a motor vehicle.

Yesterday, Tuesday, June 27, Philip Taylor appeared before the Wirral Magistrates Court to address the charges levelled against him.

During the court proceedings, he entered a plea of guilty in relation to the offence.

As a result, the court imposed a series of conditions as part of his sentencing. These conditions included a fine, a drug rehabilitation order, and payment of court costs.
