Man jailed for County Lines drugs supply in Wirral

A man involved in supplying drugs in Wirral as part of a ‘County Lines’ drugs supply has today been sentenced.

John Bromilow, aged 27, from North Wales, was arrested by Project Medusa officers on 4 February 2022, investigating a County Line drug supply into Birkenhead.

He appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today and was sentenced to 21 months for the offence.

Detective Inspector Gary Stratton said, “County Lines drug dealing blights communities and the lives of those taking drugs and those who are often coerced into dealing them on behalf of organised crime groups.

“Our work to remove these people from our streets and bring them to justice continues on a daily basis and I would ask anyone who has information about this kind of activity to come forward so action can be taken and these offenders brought to justice.”
