Man given extended Criminal Behaviour Order following incidents in Prenton

A Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) has been extended against a man following allegations of anti-social and criminal behaviour in Prenton.

Peter Hill, 37, of no fixed abode, was given the amended CBO at Liverpool Crown Court following recent incidents, including allegations of theft and being abusive to staff and customers in local shops.

The order will run until 29 June 2029.

The CBO stipulates that Hill can’t enter an area of Prenton, bounded by and including Woodchurch Road, Storeton Road and Holm Lane.

Neighbourhood policing Inspector Nicola Hughes said, “Antisocial behaviour and criminality causes misery for members of our community wishing to go about their daily business and business owners simply wanting to make a living.

“The neighbourhood policing team will continue to seek similar orders against those who seek to cause harm to our communities.

“Criminal Behaviour Orders are extremely effective and should Hill breach the conditions of this order, he will be arrested, returned to court and may be jailed.

“I would actively encourage any members of the public who witness Hill breaching his CBO or committing offences to report this to Merseyside Police to contact @MerPOlCC or call 101.”
