Man charged with fly-tipping at Bebington Road Allotments

Merseyside Police has charged a Tranmere man with fly-tipping following an incident earlier this year.

On Wednesday 3 March, officers were called to Bebington Allotments, Bebington Road, Tranmere to reports of fly-tipping of waste at the location.

27-year-old Jonathon Rainer of Parkhurst Road has now been charged with the following offences:

  • Deposit without an environmental permit controlled/extractive waste in/on land
  • Occupier of domestic property fail to take measures to secure transfer of household waste is authorised

In layman’s terms, police advise that the charges translate to unauthorised dumping of waste, otherwise known as fly-tipping.

Rainer will next appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on Monday 23 August
