Man charged with drug supply offences in Liverpool

Merseyside Police has confirmed that a man has been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs supply.

Following extensive inquiries carried out as part of Operation Venetic, officers arrested a man at an address in Liverpool on Tuesday, 20 February.

Ian Fitzgibbon, 29, of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply heroin and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 21 February.
