Man charged in connection with Thingwall burglaries

A man has been charged following a series of burglaries in Thingwall last week. 

During the early hours of Wednesday 26 July, it was reported that a man broke into eight houses on Pensby Road, Beaumaris Drive and Barnston Road and stole a bike, handbag and a purse.

Yesterday (Thursday 3 August) officers arrested a man on suspicion of burglary.

Ben Kelly, aged 23, of Speke has been charged with four counts of burglary, three counts of fraud and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded into custody will attend a hearing at Liverpool Knowsley & Sefton Magistrates Court at 2pm today (Friday 4 August).
